This data set describes the development of ownership structures in the various media genres in Switzerland. The values are calculated as the ratio between the total number of offerings and the number of controllers for each media genre. The data comes from various sources: for radio and TV, the data is based on the information provided in the reporting forms that broadcasters must submit to OFCOM. For online media, the data was collected by fög (Research Centre for the Public Sphere and Society) on behalf of OFCOM. For print media, the data was collected by the University of Applied Sciences of the Grisons and Freie Universität Berlin on behalf of OFCOM.
